For residential homes that use our recommended CertainTeed asphalt shingle roofing systems, we are able to offer a choice of 30-year or 50-year limited warranty. Both warranties are transferable if you sell your home — the 30-year warranty is transferable within the first 5 years, and the 50-year SureStart™ warranty is transferable within the first 10 years — so new owners benefit from the same protection.
CertainTeed warrants that its shingles will be free from manufacturing defects, and provides the extra assurance of SureStart™ protection. Below are highlights of the warranty for Landmark®. Workmanship Warranties
With our 4-star protection plan, Greenawalt Roofing Company offers a 12-year workmanship guarantee. This warranty ensures that if something was improperly installed during your exterior project, we will cover it for up to 12 years. At the completion of your installation, we’ll provide you with a certificate of craftsmanship for the work performed.
For commercial buildings, we offer the same 12-year workmanship warranty which, when combined with manufacturers’ warranties, will provide peace of mind and protection for your building and its new roof.
Greenawalt’s 5-star protection plan extends our workmanship warranty to 25 years, which is available for both residential and commercial customers.
